Practice Facility Bag Stand
Every single part of your facility says something good or bad to your members and guests about the facility. This would include the first employee that greets them to how the practice facility bag stands are arranged and available for them all of the way to how good the greens are. Oh and do not forget, their after round mood may be determined by how they played that day.
The practice facility is a place that almost all players will visit to some extent prior to their round or they may use it for a specific practice session. The look of this area will say something about how the golf facility is managed.
When a member or guest (read potential member) pulls up to the practice tee, one of the first things that they will notice is the organization of the tee including the practice facility bag stands, water stations and hitting areas.
With proper organization using driving range bag stands, tee dividers, range ball stackers and range ball trays, a defined hitting station can be created and realized by the member or guests. This is important for a couple of reasons. First, creating defined areas will assist in keeping the area safe. Second, it will create a comfortable space to hit range balls.
The hitting stations not only need to be refreshed with range balls throughout the day, the practice facility bag stands must also be re-aligned throughout the day to maintain the same organization for the player that comes to the facility later in the day and not first thing in the morning.
Being able to stay organized on the driving range throughout the day will give your members a sense of cleanliness as well. With team members checking the organization of the practice area, it will also allow them to check the cleanliness of the driving range and routinely empty trash cans and refill water stations.
You do not need to hear it from me as you will hear it from your members if you maintain sub-par turf quality on the practice tee. With proper rotation of the hitting area and the practice facility bag stands, the turf can have the most recovery time allowed depending on the size of the tee and the amount of use.
Practice facility bag stands come in different forms. Some sit on top of the turf and are made of rounded metal. Other golf club bag stands stick into the ground by using small spikes to anchor them into the ground. You can also continue the look of the clubhouse onto the practice facility by ordering painted bag stands to match your theme.
If you are at a seasonal golf course, driving range or country club, you will also need to know how the practice facility bag stands are going to be stored in the off season. Stackable bag stands are available and can help you with storage space.
Improve member and customer satisfaction by simply improving the organization and cleanliness of your practice facility. By using this simple inexpensive tip, you can quickly improve the perception of your facility. As many times, perception becomes reality.

What You Must Know While Choosing Broad Head
The important Factors you should consider While Choosing Broad Head: Broad heads generally come in all types of sizes, shapes, and styles. With various choices available, and all different advertising out there it will get very tough to choose what broad heads are correct for you. Truth is, there are many very good broad heads in the market, & there are many junk broad heads as well in the market. Selecting good broad head is very important for successful hunt, as poorly made broad head would wind up causing you losing that trophy animal that you were been waiting for. In case you are bow hunter & you wish to save some money, and then do not try to do that by purchasing junky broad heads, I can assure that you will regret.
Broad heads mostly come in two different styles expandable & fixed blade. The expandable broad heads have blades, which are folded upwards & upon impact expand & open up. The fixed blade broad heads are like name suggests, and there are broad heads who have blades opened and ready to go. Selecting style of broad head is on you, providing you buy very good quality broad head it does not matter what type of style you choose to shoot. It is actually going to be personal fondness thing. I will give you few pros & cons about all that can help you give better idea as what you will want to shoot.
Mechanical Blades
Pros
Because blades on this particular style of broad head are folded in an arrowhead, and it flies like normal field point, since it does not have any open-blades to catch a wind.
Head of broad head is less bulky & thus is not prone to hitting branches or weeds that can be in your way of shot.
As blades are folded, chance of cutting yourself on blades is less likely.
Cons
If you are shooting animal at any angle, then there, is chance that broad head will open unequally or only partly resulting in less damaging cut to lungs & heart?
Expandables are known to fail & not open, causing lots of lost animals.
Prone to being clogged with dirt, moisture as well as other elements, which could cause broad head blades not to open.
Fixed Blades
Pros
Does not matter what side of angle you shoot at the animal, as blades are open they can efficiently slice the vitals.
If fixed blade broad head gets wet or dirty, it may not cause an cutting aptitude to fail.
It is easier to replace the blades on fixed blade than the expandable
Cons
Because blades are open from get go it is easier for wind to catch a hold of arrow. It as well naturally has different flight design than the field points. Thus, it takes little time to set it up for your bow.
Overall, when selecting broad head do your search, read online forums & user reviews on various companies & broad head models & styles. Some broad head companies that I suggest could be Wasp, Muzzy, and Slick trick, Magnus & American Brodhead.

Analyzing the Trophy Ridge Meat Seeker Broadhead
When it comes to bow hunting, a lot of the equipment is expensive enough that you can?t try most of the things out there on the market. It just isn?t feasible to try out a new bow every year. One of the things that you can try out new every year is broadheads. They might be the most important part of the equipment. It is the first thing that flies through the air and it is the first thing that strikes the animal. The last new broadhead that I tried out was the Trophy Ridge Meat Seeker. This is a mechanical broadhead that really shows some improvement in the broadhead technology and is highly effective at taking down game.
What Makes it Work
The premise behind this broadhead is that there is a piston hammer that shoots forward when the tip impacts the target and sends the blades forward. The result is a one and a half inch entry wound. Because of this system, less kinetic energy is lost and than translates into more clean pass-throughs of your arrows. All of this will lead to better bleeding, improved blood trails and less chance of losing equipment and your target as well. The blades are fully deployed when they impact the target. This creates a massive wound channel.
The Meat Seekers do not suffer from deflection problems. Every shot goes in straight and the odds of getting a fatal shot on the first pull are much better. As they are more devastating, they are a more ethical kill. Not many deer are going to make it more than twenty or thirty yards after getting hit with one of these, especially if you hit them in the right place. That part is up to you, but you will be aided by the fact that shooting with these broadheads feels like you are shooting with your field tips. Accuracy is excellent.
There are other similar broadheads out on the market like the Rage Broadheads. They can deliver a devastating blow just like the Meat Seekers but the problem with them is that they are not always so quiet. The system that they use to hold the blades in place sometimes allows the blades to move and make noise. It only takes one missed target because of this to make you not want to take them out ever again. On occasion I have also heard that the Rage Broadheads have a tendency to get out of place in the quiver.
First time out with the Trophy Ridge Meat Seeker broadheads I got a very good shot at a doe at about 50 yards even. The shot hit just back of the shoulder, and it went through both lungs. The arrow was a clean pass-through and I am pretty certain that I hit a rock coming out the other side. The blood trail was great, not that I needed it. The tip was also still intact. It didn?t take long to win me over. These are well-designed broadheads.

Achieve Maximum Protection With an EVS Neck Brace
When it comes to playing any kind of sport, wearing complete protective gears must be an understanding among all players. The same goes for those who have already played a particular sport for a long time and those who are trying something for the first time. Especially in biking sports, gearing up completely will protect you from highly possible accidents. Aside from helmets, you should not forget about the EVS neck brace that provides support to your neck, as well as your collar area.
One of the weakest parts of the body is the neck so in sports where there is a high probability of hitting the neck, athletes use neck braces or gears that cover the neck protectively. Our necks have soft skin and tissues and the only set of bones inside the skin is the spinal cord, which is very vital to our very existence. There are also a lot of veins that connect to our brain and other vital organs of the body. When one of these veins got hit, there is a high chance of bleeding shortly before you lose consciousness because you also run out of oxygen in the brain. In this circumstance, you might also experience asphyxiation because your air passages that are found in the neck area will be blocked. The neck also supports important glands and nerves in the body.
Understanding the anatomy of the neck allows you to gravely consider neck braces, as well as the other gears for the body when you are playing your sports. These gears are specifically designed for the athlete to perfectly perform the sport without being hindered by the gear too much. In biking, for example, the EVS neck brace helps the biker to incline the head for longer periods of time. Since a bike race is usually done in long tracks and particular routes, the neck will accumulate strain that eventually gives the biker a hard time. Chances are, the biker will lose the game because he will quit or he will push himself, disregarding his neck cramps just to win. When he chooses the latter, there is also a high probability that he gets serious injury. Aside from neck cramps, pressure is added to the upper body.
The EVS neck brace does not only support the neck, but it also provides protection to the collar system, making it an ultimate protection in many bike races. In addition, it offers a better and effective load transfer to the lower body starting from the shoulders. It bridges the gap between the helmet and the gear covering the upper body, thus making the protection more or less absolute.
Some people, especially those who are not athletes of these sports do not bother buying such gears. This is for the reason that they would not do the sport regularly so investing for gears is costly. This is not a good practice and it should be prohibited by authorities. The neck is very delicate and if you manage to get hit on the right spot, you might just die before you get to the hospital.

Magnanimously Untitled Article Vol. 4
Hello everybody and welcome back. It?s been a while, but I?ve been busy. However I am back now so you can rest easy. Just a heads up this batch of random thoughts is gonna be ROH heavy since I?ve been watching all their HDNet shows on you tube, and I haven?t been able to have too many thoughts about them in the past. Also I will have the next round in the Jim Johnston Cup, and maybe another HOF inductee. So let?s kick this pig.
First things first if anyone is wondering, the channel on you tube that has all of the ROH shows is ROHBrazil.
I can?t believe they are making me wait till May 2nd for me to get my Roderick Strong fix. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed the likes of Brent Albright and Erik Stevens as well.
I like the new Superstars show WWE has. I like the way it?s presented, and I think the theme song rocks. Plus they devote more time to actually wrestling other than just promo work. That allows better matches, and it brings back exhibition matches where two wrestlers with no storyline involvement with each other can tangle just to put on a good match.
I found out why I was initially attracted to the ROH product. It?s their ring; it looks like there?s a trampoline in the middle. That big black square with the ROH logo reminds me of a trampoline.
I figured out why people are calling Bryan Danielson the best in the world. See, before I had only seen him clean shaven with a shaved head. But I noticed that since he?s grown his hair out, and grown a beard he looks a lot like?Chuck Norris. That?s why he?s the best in the world.
I hate that the first ROH title change since getting a TV deal took place off of ROH television.
Claudio Castagnoli cracks me up. Bein all European and what not.
I like this Kenny Omega guy, he just seems cool.
So I recently heard that Jeff might not renew his contract, but I?m not really buying that.
Well, Mick Foley is a World Champion again, and a hell?maybe, I don?t know for sure. Oh, well. In a week of holding the title he?s already been a better champion than I thought he would be. I just hope he loses it at Sacrifice.
Trevor Murdoch is in TNA now with a cowboy name. Actually, I like it.
I heard amazing Red teams with Suicide in the next TNA episode. I?m glad, I?ve heard a lot about him, but I?ve never been able to see him wrestle. I?m looking forward to it.
An early prediction for the 2010 Royal Rumble?CM Punk. I?m not saying I hope he wins it, and I?m sure I?ll change it by that time.
I was going to do some Backlash predictions, but I didn?t get this in in time so I?ll just go over it quickly.
First off I liked The Steamboat/Jericho match. It was a good match, and it gave Jericho a reason to be on PPV. Steamboat is still pretty good, and he doesn?t seem afraid to do any of his old highflying stuff. Still has the best arm drag in the game.
I missed the first ten minutes of Swagger vs. Christian due to stream problems. What I did see was pretty good. I was expecting Swagger to hold onto the belt for a little longer though. Maybe have an actual feud that built up to Christian winning, but oh well. I liked the ending. Swagger still looks strong, and Christian still looks like Christian.
Punk vs. Kane was a very good match I thought. My only complaint is that I think they made Punk look a little to strong by dominating Kane most of the match. Of course it?s my belief they are currently trying to build up Punk, and he dominated Kane intelligently through out the match so it?s okay. And Kane walked away with the win so it?s all good.
I was honestly disappointed in the I Quit match. My night wasn?t ruined by it by any means, but I know they can do better. I think they need to give them more time. It was a good match though. Mainly spots from Jeff, with brawling from Matthew. I just wish they had done more. There wasn?t a lot of weapons usage. The tying Matt to a table thing was great though. Never seen that before. I figured he was gonna quit before Jeff jumped, but it was all good anyways. I?m wondering if they?re gonna do a Cowboy Bob Orton thing with Matt and his brand new cast.
I wish Orton hadn?t won the title in this match. It just takes away form the reign of it if you ask me. However if it keeps setting up things like him vs. MVP I?ll gladly let it slide. And Triple H is gonna be out for a while, so we can have others rise up to the top of Raw now. The match itself was okay. I liked how Orton won with the punt.
The Last Man Standing match was probably the best match of the night. They made Cena look like Superman, but they did the same thing with Edge. He got up from a super F-U. I thought the match was over then. When he did get up though, I knew the match was gonna be an ass kicker. My only two complaints are that Cena got up from a con chair to on the ramp, and the cheesy explosion when he went through the spotlight. That, by the way, was an awesome ending. I just wish the reign had lasted longer.
I would like to take just a moment to thank everyone who proved that The Vince was the Hulk Hogan of these articles, and I was the Ric Flair. He was pretty popular for a long time, but whose legacy is living on? Mine. And I?ve got you people to thank for it. Taking off the Morpher, and ditching the giant robot, and that whole persona probably helped too, but hey.
Looking forward to my new ROH episode. I can finally give my input into conversations about the promotion now.
I?ll admit, Danielson is very very good. But he?s got a hell of a ways to go before he can call himself the best in the world. I believe if he tries he can do it though.
I get annoyed at people who call Bryan Danielson American Dragon. Not the people that call The American Dragon Bryan Danielson, or Bryan Danielson The American Dragon. Just American Dragon. I know that was his ring name for a while in Japan, but get over it. He?s Bryan Danielson. When they call him just American Dragon all the time it makes them sound like they are trying to be real smarky.
I?m still itching to see Roderick Strong on the ROH show.
Me and friends are finally able to wrestle again. I?ve got a little make shift ring in four door garage. Hopefully we can wrestle at the YMCA soon again. We?re Next Generation Wrestling by the way. No champs yet, we?re still getting off the ground.
So is like Santino face now or what? I?m getting tired of this tranny.
Did you guys know that Dr. Death Steve Williams had throat cancer, and he has to talk with like something called a stoma. He?s getting a little voice box or something. Anyway Wrestler Rescue or whatever it?s called is taking donations to help pay for it. You can check out a link on the message boards at www.harleyrace.com
Kofi for champ!
The only reason I?m writing this last one is because I need to meet some ridiculous word requirement. My God you can make an article as long you want that doesn?t make it good, why can?t people get that through their heads. Anyway, I like that Jericho is on SmackDown. He?s going to do very well over there.
Well that?s my analysis. I suppose it?s time for the Jim Johnston Cup.
Here are the results. Edge?s Metalingus beat out The Game by 9-5. Shawn kicked The Chairman of the Boards teeth out 10-4. The Rock got bit by the Rattlesnake 9-5. Now this one is interesting. Real American, and R.I.P. tied with 7. In the event of a tie I cast my vote. And there is no denying that Undertaker is the better wrestler. As far as themes go though none beat Hogan. Therefore Hulkamania lives 8-7. So next rounds match ups are as follows:
Edge (Metalingus) vs. Shawn Michaels (Sexy Boy)
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan (Real American)
Hey didn?t I just do that last one?
That?s all for this week folks. Peace, Love, and Candy

Cliffjumping ? Jump Out, Not Up
There are some extreme sports that just won?t let you skip any steps in the learning process ? cliffjumping is one of these pursuits. There is no A to Z, so if you are the impatient type who cares nothing for the journey and only the destination you should excuse yourself from this topic. To do otherwise would endanger your life. Convinced? Great, then let?s proceed. There is absolutely nothing more heart pumping, exhilarating, thrilling, addicting and frightening than jumping off of a cliff!
The first list for cliffjumping is the ?Thou shalt not? list. Never jump into water that you have not first checked yourself for safety. Even if it is listed on fave sites, the Earth is changing all the time. Never go alone on a jump, for obvious reasons. Leave the alcohol at home, again for obvious reasons. Do not jump in a life vest because it can cause injury on impact. Throw it down to the side in the water ahead of your jump. And on the topic of shod or shoeless jumps ? there are arguments and valid points on both sides. You have to decide this one for yourself.
For the actual cliffjumping you only need your clothes. If you have to day hike in you will need water (lots of it), a change of shoes, food and maps as basic supplies. If you camp, be sure to leave no footprint. Take out everything you pack in. Just as important as the supplies is the information you need to gather before stepping foot on the cliff. The most obvious of these are the height of the cliff and the depth of the water followed by the nature of the actual jump spot. That is, will you have to do any hazardous climbing to reach the intended platform and will you have to jump out over rocks to reach the water? What is the distance to shore from your landing spot? If you need assistance, how far away is help?
There are 36 states in the US with popularly rated jump sites and 39 worldwide that have been detailed and documented by experienced cliff jumpers. This information is invaluable in leading you to viable jumps. Again though, it does not replace thoroughness on your part when you arrive. If the cliffjumping you are planning is only 15 feet in height you will be traveling at 21 mph when you hit the water. You do not want to find a rock underneath at that speed. The world?s record for the highest cliff dive stands at 172 feet ? over 60 miles per hour!
The entire experience of cliffjumping from the actual jump itself to the surroundings of mountain or coastal beauty is a magical pursuit. If you are a beginner it will take dozens of jumps to learn the basics and dozens more to learn what cannot be seen ? safety factors and reading the lay of the land and water. If you are careful, cautious and respectful of others and the environment the extreme sport of cliff jumping is sure to be one of your favorite pastimes.

Hammer Tyme #4
We cheer for the hero, we boo for the Heel. But what keeps us from getting over our lights punched out by a 430 pound monster that you just an a$#ole. Or let?s say you are the 430 pound ?Fat? or ?Slob? and what about the heel that is booed? Does he take it personal? Does it bother him?
Wrestling psychology is very completed. It is also very simple and basic to learn best yet you don?t need hours of classes and tests. It all revolves around ?Selling?. Perhaps the most important term used in the business. Selling as it is called means making the people believe what you are doing. So if you are a heel, the more heat (crowd anger) you draw the show they receive and the more you are remembered. If you?re a heel you want to be the most hated person in the building. That after all is your job. If you are a hero or Face as it is called you want everyone to love you. Giving high fives, autographs, pose for pictures or whatever makes them happy. Either way remember plus or negative it is your character not you personally. Use it to feel your momentum and develop your identity. Keeping ?KayFabe? in practice or like a magician not revealing the secret to his illusion is important to the show. Okay it is easy to deal with everyone loving you, if you?re a cuddly, snuggly, puppy. If you?re a Siberian Bull and just killed an American you don?t want to be loved in America or anywhere but home.
The first thing that you need to ask yourself is can I separate my character from Reality? For me it was easy behind a mask. No one knew the man behind the mask so anything I did was a Destroyer or Flag that did everything was them not me. Without a mask it?s a bit more challenging as people see you and think that you are your gimmick in and out of the ring. My experience with others in the business is they act different in and out of the ring. Often we were not allowed to mingle with crowd until after the entire show was over.
Being hated however can be rough, hearing put downs and boo?s can make anyone feel hurt or but as I said turn it into heat and it will ultimately make a better show. Learning to not take it personally helps. Also wear it as a badge of honor. Of its drawing heat then you?re doing your job and bask in the glory. Making a memorable appearance is what keeps you coming back and getting more bookings.
In some cases it is necessary to block out the crowd as you can and focus on the job at hand putting on a good show. One VERY critical piece of information and advice NEVER put your hands on a person in the crowd. However if it?s arranged, scripted and part of the show than go for it. Assaulting anyone who is not on payroll is a lawsuit and arrest would be a good thing and would kill your federation so doesn?t do it. Get in their face and get worked up. Threaten and draw heat but NEVER act on it EVER.
With that said moving on to the hero. It?s great to take pictures, sign autographs and give tips and advice to aspiring future generations but make sure that there is a line. We tend not to think of negative or extreme negative but our world has changed unfortunately there are stories of fans and stalkers. It?s best to set limits and stick to them for your safety and that of others. Ok that was my McGruff the Crime Dog speech. Sorry my soap box or Podium won?t go away it is a useful tool and accepted as such. At least no one has said it has to go. YET
I had an opportunity to stop out from behind the mask this past Friday, April 24, 2009. This was my second appearance without wearing a mask. This wasn?t wrestling although one of the guest referees was a pro wrestler Haystacks Ross. It began as a request to do writing. My very first wrestling promoter was getting together a show call GLADIATOR BALL. It had Haystacks Ross and celebrity Muhammed Ali Jr. It included 3 Gladiators from NBC TV American Gladiators, Venom, Mayhem and Fury.
My involvement began doing my new found passion writing. There was to be some scripted skits along with the 10 Dodge ball games. The first challenge was to keep it a Family Show and not offend anyone but give laughs and entertainment to the audience. I meet for the next few weeks over the phone, email and in person. It was great working with Don McNeil again. I see him as a mentor. He helped me more then wrestling and helped develop my writing skills. We co-created a few things and on skit I wrote myself with his feedback. The week before the show I received a call. I wrote a piece about Muhammed Ali Jr having eye trouble and needed an Eye Dr coming to his aid. Don called and said he put my idea in but needed someone to portray the doctor and asking if I would play the doctor and I said ?I would love to?.
It was my second time performing without a mask. 10 yrs ago it was Jerry Springer. This time for some reason I was more comfortable and relaxed. I was Dr George (the original). I came out did my thing and felt good. The experience was awesome. Don said this gives you something to write about in your column. It did as it fit well with my topic of the week giving me an illustration of how things are done or can be done.
I also to specially thank Beth ?Venom? for her training and diet advice and meeting her has inspired and motivated me. I guess I am like Bat-Mass enemy Bane. I am ?Venom? powered now!!
There is the fearing the Undertaker or the Black Magic of BoggyMan or Papa Shango. Have you ever watched Hulk Hogan prepare to walk thru the curtain? He performs the sign of the cross, and other wrestlers used other symbols. Hillbilly Jim use to carry a horseshow on a chain. Are these parts of the gimmick or a part of the psychology or both? Myself I use the sign of Cross/Prayer as a chance to clear my mind and focus on the task at hand. It has become an instinct and most of the time I don?t realize I do it. At least I haven?t noticed not doing it. There is not much need for luck as things often get pre-planned but having to remember you?re ?Mark? or god-forbid something should go wrong. I recall a match where I suppose to get thrown into the corner. I missed the corner padding and caught the Cable Ropes. Let me tell you it felt like my back exploded. It threw off my night. I then later took a bad bump hitting the back of my head and back. I would find that I had received a concussion and damaged the disc at L5/S1 which led to my retirement for a time. Like I said earlier leave is sometimes temporary and when it is in your blood and soul sometimes saying NO is almost impossible. I never think about the negatives. I take each show as if it?s my first and give the best possible show I can. Accidents or injuries happen. Unless we go through life in Bubble wrap we are not going to avoid these. Yes it?s scary but given the rarity of these events it?s not commonplace but it?s something to be aware of. Being safe is important that?s why we go through a very lengthy training to craft and learn our trade. If something should happen knowing how to deal with it is the key. Don?t move and let trained people take over. Again this is not to scare but make you aware and keep you and your opponent healthy and safe.
So I am passing along the following to show that professional wrestling is more than just being a massively built individual. It is said to be 90% mental and 10% physical. As you can see the mental is tough. Having your game face on and getting into character is just as important as running laps or lifting 100?s of pounds of weight. How can this be practiced? First of all do not try to imitate or try this at home or in a back yard setting. Have a trained professional work with you. Some of the mental can be done by you. Practice in front of a mirror doing speaking or selling moves. As with anything it will take time and develop as you gain experience. There is always room to improve.

Windsurfing ? a Breath of Fresh Air
If you?re a beachgoer, you?ve probably seen crafts on the ocean that look like a cross between a surfboard and a sailboat. Well, that?s exactly what they are and the sport is called windsurfing. The object of some dispute is the question of who actually invented the windsurfer. As the courts battle out the disagreement, the avid windsurfing enthusiast probably says, who cares? For the extreme sport of windsurfing combines the best of traditional surfing with that of sailing to create the ultimate wave riding experience. A windsurfer actually holds the world record for speed above all other sailing crafts at 56.49 mph on a 500-meter course!
The sport of windsurfing encompasses a variety of competitive disciplines such as freestyle, course racing, slalom, speed sailing and the extreme Super X competitions. Surfers compete in Formula style and Olympic class racing where sailors use specially designed equipment for sailing under conditions where there may be little or no wind. It is the Olympic games, after all, and the show must go on. If you can imagine, there are even indoor windsurfing competitions in some countries. These facilities are comprised of very large indoor pools with enormous fans used for wind propulsion. Not your standard backyard pool setting.
Whether you are interested in windsurfing as a competitive sport or just want to give it a try as a recreational endeavor, there is certain basic equipment that you will need. A windsurfing apparatus, of course (that somebody invented), a wet suit, helmet, proper footwear, flotation device, harness and harness lines, joint, fin and some travel gear. Some nice waves and a good steady 20 mph wind wouldn?t hurt either as windsurfers don?t use any sort of motorized device for propulsion. For the beginning surfer, a battened sail is a good choice for its light weight and easier handling.
Windsurfing as a sport requires a good deal of athleticism. The mechanics of the sport are similar in style to other board sports like water skiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding and the ever popular skateboarding. Advanced jumps, spins, and loops can be performed with a windsurfer and require hours and hours of hands-on practice. These types of moves should not be attempted by the beginner, but the seasoned surfer will find exhilaration and a sense of free floating and flying that only the windsurfer provides. Many beach facilities provide windsurfing rentals for those who would like to try their hand at windsurfing before investing in equipment.
Windsurfing is a sport for people of all ages. Children as young as four years old can begin learning the art of windsurfing using rigs that are lighter in weight. There are even organized competitions for these tiny surfers and the sport carries on for them with a junior class of competition through the age of 15. Windsurfing is an extreme water sport that attracts millions of people every year to beaches far and wide. If the bump-n-jump of windsurfing sounds like your idea of a thrill, head to the beach, strap yourself to a board and set sail with the wind racing through you hair!
